Informative but not loud enough, at least for me even with the volume maxed out. Did state the obvious.

This is totally worthless because it points out the obvious. Who here at DC would eat a donut? I mean, get real.

Research, investigate, inquire, read !

Would it be more appropriate if he told you exactly what to eat, when to eat it and why to eat it ?
Where would your dietician, nutritionist or doctor fit into your diabetic life ?

Diabetes and the survival of it requires a little selfness on your behalf, it is after all, your diabetes !

(Don't expect from some one, what you yourself can do)

MBerner: What a waste. This should have been titled, "Blah, blah, blah!" It is not useful for the average diabetic who has time constraints and money constraints.

Expecting a quick cure for diabetes or expecting someone to give you all the answers to your questions, takes the responsibility away from yourself.
Diabetes doesn't come over night, neither will it go away or get better just as easily.
Take your time and follow the basics, document your progress and you will see results, it takes time.

This really didn't say anything that we haven't been hearing for a long time. Mays, thanks for the additional link to best and worst foods.

I liked the Video. Yes, he said the basic things on what not to eat, such as fried foods, high content salt etc. Some people don't know that, while others do. I do not eat anything fried, period. The salt foods I do eat but not very much.It comes down to common sense which I don't always use,but I do know what not to eat.

Because diabetes is not basic and varies from one individual to another some what, being told exactly what to eat and what not to eat would not be applicable across the board for various reasons based on diet, regions, culture, etc.
A general guideline is given leaving that interpretation and flexibility on the individual.
Had he been more precise, he would have been questioned as to why and what makes him an authority on such, the ultimate decision is and will be up to you.

The video was very basic. I am diabetic, diagnosed five years ago. I realize that a lot of what I used to eat was not good for me. However, in constantly being reminded what not to eat, there has to be more than that. Organic foods are entirely too expensive when I am the only one in my family diabetic and there are five other members to consider. Fried foods are not that terrible if you have it every now and then. My basic point is this, you will not be successful at monitoring your blood sugar if you cannot ever have anything. This video could have been more encouraging.

He didn't say anything I needed to hear. What is a person to eat? CAN SOMEONE ANSWER FOR ME?
