Now I understand a bit more about diabetis. Even though I am type 2and age 77 yrs, I am insulin resistant? Too many sweets over the years, I guess. I have not been able to keep my BS down with just a diet and exercise, tried for 3 years, but am on Metofrmin 750 mg too. Still not too bad, BUT I now SEE the wisdom of --I should have taken my 5o years of prediabetis more seriously. Oh, well, better late than never! I am careful NOW! Pat Roth

Terrific info. I have asked for two years from my doctor for an explanation on why my sugar jumps for no apparent reason. This finally pointed me in the right direction. No carbs vs artifical sweetners. Something I was told to use.
