Its one thing to cope with this as an adult. I have
the greatest respect for all the children. They
have taught me a great deal.

It breaks my heart to know that children have to suffer this disease, and go through all the finger pricks, testing, and shots.

I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 12. I,too have been on a few Wals for aCure. Some @ really fun places! ! presently go for my Diabetc care @ the Diabetes Reseach Institute located @ the MillerSchool of Medicine in the University of Miami. They are Top Notch ! When I was a teenager and I lived up north I went to the Joslin Clinic in Boston…finallly after many failed attempts by a Doctor who really wasn't a specialist.I,too, wear apump now.and for the past ten years. When i was a teen we were still using reusage glass syringe.
