Can you trust an insulin pump? What can go wrong? What can go right?

I will also add Sid that if you are planning any trips out town or the country that you get with your Doctor and set-up an emergency plan if you pump happens to stop working while you are on your trip. You can still have your new pump shippped to you anywhere but a cruise ship. I was on a cruise ship in the middle of the ocean when my pump malifunctioned on me thank God there was a little clinic on board were was able to get insulin and needles. It wasn't the insulin I normally take but it was some insulin. Other than that you should be fine. I've been on the pump since 2006 and it has helped me so much. Everything doesn't work for everyone so you just have to try it out and see if it makes a difference for your A1C.

Good information. I do not use a pump or insulin. I have a friend who is 13 and she has a pump. I also have a cousin who has a pump so now I have some ideas of what they face.

Excellent video and information. I'm thinking about getting a pump.
