Ok flipmom, here's what happened to me when I needed to give myself insulin by using my pen at a restaurant. I noticed a lady a few tables away from my party say something ugly to her husband. He looked at me as if I suddenly grew a 2nd head! Nobody at my table said anything offending to me what I was doing. Just that one couple. I gave them an ugly look when they left! Since then I have gone to the bathroom to check my bg and give my insulin. No one in the bathroom who came after me has ever frecked out seeing what I'm doing. And I'm so happy that hasn't happened. But that couple…I think about if I did the right thing. Leaving for a trip to mom's home and have a brother who literally will drop over at the site of any blood. I guess I will give in and remove myself from his presense before the ugly words are thrown at me. Thanks for this video. It will help a lot of people.
