I was diagnosed with it about 3yrs.ago.
Back then my levels were 500-600's and higher, now is more under control and I don't feel the numbness as I did before
I lost 60+lbs. I haven't seen my podiatrist in over 18 mos. so it's way about time to see him. I'll make my appt. tomorrow a.m.

I was told by a rhumatologist that I have neuropthy, but I do not have any numbness. Is numbness always present with neuropathy?

Thanks so much for sharing this video. Since it is a very present concern of mine, I was particularly interested. I was also extremely distressed to hear that neuropathy is irreversible. I sure hope that this will encorage me to take better control of my BG.

I dont have any infections or anything like it, my feet look ok. But I had my little toe hurting at night and kept me awake very often. My Endocrinologist told me it is Neuropathy, but after reading all these comments, now I am not so sure anymore. I have been taking Lyrica 100 mg twice a day and haven't had any pain since. So is he right?
He is the one who diagnosed me 2 years ago having Diabetes 2. So I'm taking medication (Metformin) for that too; however my sugar is within 95 - 105 in the morning and maybe gets up to 125 two hours after lunch or dinner. I have been recording my bloodwork for over 10 years and my Glucose has never been any higher. So am I diabetic or not? I dont have too much faith in any doctor these days.
