This video is very interesting. It is good to know exactly what the pancreas does. Also the stomach, the small intestine and the liver. Knowledge is power. We need to know all there is to know regarding our bodies.

Enjoyed the basics about the function of the pancrease, but would also like a continuation video on what happens when your pancreas malfunctions in a diabetic.

States nothing of delivery system membranes and plasma sheets and how sugars are stored in pancrease and liver for a brief period of time and often is sent to the dermis layer of fat. It also dumbs us down with not including how it also assists with the lymph system, and I've come to understand that the pancrease creates 2 other base chemicals that are added to as they are delivered to receptor sites on cells. There's also no mention of how particles are loosened for receptor cilia in the intestines to absorb nutrient particles other than fat, and glucose.
Please speak up people, we NEED more full disclosure, rather than just the generalized data.

Mr. Ed2,
If the Beta Cells of your pancreas fails that would result in you becoming a Type 1 Diabetic, in need of insulin injections daily for the rest of your life.
If the entire pancreas fails, you would need a pancreas transplant in order to live.

The video "What Do My Pancreas Do?" was very enlightening! Now for an obvious question: When a diabetic has a pancreas that quits working, what happens to the rest of the body when as the movie says it performs 90% of other functions?
