Food & Exercise Journal by Calorie King Inexpensive to purchase. Easy to use. Can personalize food and exercise items. You have to purchase it. Kraft used to have something similar on their website and it was free. You have to enter your data. Thumbsup
Eucerin Calming bath wash Can't find in stores, at least not in rural Minnesota. Thumbsup
Lisinopril Does double duty by lowering blood pressure and protecting the kidneys from long-term damage. Causes dry cough in some. Lisinopril is a generic form of the ACE inhibitors and is quite inexpensive. Thumbsup
tricor Single dose daily. Don't have to take before meals. Expensive. Thumbsup
Glucotrol (glipizide) Inexpensive. Thumbsdown
Actos Can be very effective at controlling blood glucose levels. For some people it is fat pill. And it is expensive. There is not a generic version available as of now. Thumbsdown
Non fat milk Lasts forever in the refrigerator. Thumbsup
ACCU-CHECK Compact Plus Meter No need to load strips nor to code a new batch. Never know when I am using the last strip. Thumbsup
Metformin It is very effective in controlling my blood glucose levels. My HbA1Cs range between 5.6 & 6.5. Nasty gas when I take it without enough food. Thumbsup
