Quick Spanish Rice

1 (10-oz.) package yellow saffron rice
1 cup salsa
1/3 cup chopped green onions

Directions

Prepare the rice according to package directions, omitting any oil and salt. Stir in salsa and green onions.

Make it and freeze the left overs in portion size containers. My husband won't eat rice at all, hasn't since Nam and neither will my brother Jim. So I make it and freeze the rest then pull it out when I am hungry for it and fix him the reg. meal then he eats left overs the next nite when I eat with him LOL

I like spanish rice will have to try when I'm home with the kids, as my husband is not all that fond of spanish rice.

I love Spanish Rice will have to add green pepper as I put that in mine. Will try this one for sure.
