Ingredients
Ingredients
1 pounds beef, flank steak
2 scallion(s) (green onions)
1/4 cup(s) water
1/4 cup(s) wine, dry red
1/4 cup(s) soy sauce, reduced-sodium
3 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoon oil, cooking
2 clove(s) garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon celery seeds
1/2 teaspoon pepper, black
1/8 teaspoon salt
Recipe Tip: Marinate 6 to 24 hours.
Cooking Instructions
Preparation
1. Score both sides of steak in a diamond pattern by making shallow diagonal cuts at 1-inch intervals. Place steak in a resealable plastic bag set in a shallow dish. For marinade, in a small bowl combine green onions, the water, wine, soy sauce, lemon juice, oil, garlic, celery seeds, pepper, and salt. Pour over meat. Seal bag; turn to coat meat. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours or up to 24 hours, turning bag occasionally.
2. Drain steak discarding marinade. Place steak on the rack of an uncovered grill directly over medium coals. Grill for 17 to 21 minutes or until medium doneness (160°F), turning once halfway through grilling time. Thinly slice steak diagonally across the grain.
