Ingredients
14oz fat free unsalted beef broth
3lb country style pork ribs (boneless)
18oz calorie- and carb-free barbecue sauce (such as Walden Farms)
12low carb hamburger buns (optional)
Directions
Pour can of beef broth into slow cooker, and add boneless pork ribs. Cook on High heat for 4 hours, or until meat shreds easily.
Remove meat, and shred with two forks. (It will seem that it's not working right away, but it will.)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Transfer the shredded pork to a Dutch oven or iron skillet, and stir in barbeque sauce.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until heated through. Serve on low carb hamburger buns (15g each) or on top of broiled portobello mushrooms or crispy lettuce leaves, such as romaine.
(NOTE: Nutrition Facts do not include carbs in hamburger buns.)

Sounds really good can't wait to try
yummy…
I am thinking you could use beef for beef barbecue and that would cut down a lot of the sodium. Plus, use a leaner cut of pork than ribs might help. My husband was just diagnosed with diabetes and he loves barbecue. I had no idea there was a carb free sauce-this will be great.
this recipe may be 0 carbs, but look at the fats, sodium, potassium.
I know a diabetic that can't have potassium.
I have to loose weight. too much fat for me.
I think pork goes with any soda. I made it with gingerale, 7UP. I think I'm going to try it with diet root beer
Here is the easiest and most delicious recipe for pulled pork: I use a pork roast. Put it in the slow cooker (I use my smallest one, which I think holds 2 cups. ) Then cover the meat with diet root beer. That's it!! Cook it for 4-6 hours, take it out, pull it, and add low fat/low carb barbeque sauce to taste. If you want, you can pull it, put in the barbeque sauce and let it sit for a while to "soak up" the sauce. You don't have to though; it tastes great right out of the pot.
Sounds delicious!
A million miles from classical Italian or French but its four hrs. away from yum yum!
This sounds easy to make, I love using the crock pot for pork pulls and other good recipes. I am just learning to really cook and eat for the medical problems I am dealing with. Thanks
