Very Simple Sauteed Spinach

Ingredients

  • 1 clove of minced garlic

  • 1/2 cup olive oil

  • 3 lbs fresh spinach

  • 1/2 T red pepper flakes

  • salt to taste

Directions

  1. Heat olive oil on medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes until garlic turns a golden color. Add spinach in small bunches untill all spinach is wilted very well. Add salt. Let simmer for 10 minutes.

I love spinach and this is great.

I love spinach. This recipe is a great way to prepare it. For a variation add a bit of cumin in place of (or in addition to) the red pepper flakes.
