Creamy Mushrooms on Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon butter

  • 3 ounces sliced mushrooms1 tablespoon dry white wine

  • 1/4 cup haf and half

  • 2 scallions, trimmed and finely chopped

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill

  • 1 thin slice of white bread, toasted and cut diagonally into quarters

Directions

  1. Melt the butter in a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and cook for 2-3 minutes.

  2. Add the white wine and reduce slightly. Add the half and half, scallions and dill. Serve on ht taost points.

This sounds like a quick and easy recipe that can be fixed for many kinds of parties. When I fix it, I am going to use some low carb bread that I purchase online.
