Hi All

Unfortunately I do not measure. I use my blender container and tend to make a pitcher at a time. I fill it about 3/4 of the way with the lemonade (sugar-free, I use the one put out by Tropicana in the soft drink aisle). Then I add my blueberries until it is thick enough for me. If you want more of a smoothie you could use yogurt but I would suggest using the Greek yogurt because it is healthier for you. I skip it because it only adds all the things I can afford to do without. The blend of berries and lemonade over ice is all that I need. My preference is to have it thin enough to drink through a straw but still have body.

Being Italian I have never really measured except for baking specific items such as pastries. Old family ways are handed down and measured by eye and feel.

If you put my handle in you will find my recipes which I often did give measurements and nutrition info for…

My drinks tend to be snack items for me because I live in FL and swim quite a bit. As you know, it is really hot and humid here right now. I have no appetite yet need something. This keeps my blood sugar even and hydrates me as well.

KCgal…I usually only drink water also…this is what I use for snacks when exercising especially for summer. All you have to do is pour if you prepare it ahead of time in quantity.

Usually only drink water or tea, sounds like a great substitute.

What is great with this is using the blueberries gives a new way to enjoy them. Blueberries have been touted as being great for us. I hope your girl enjoys it. To me it sure beats soda. Normally I am more of a water drinker than anything but love to do things like this for snacks because I forget to have a snack so this solves thirst and snack issues. Enjoy!

Hi, you can add whatever amount you like. I like it thick similar to a smoothie but of course we must measure. Sometimes I make a blender full of it and keep it chilled for those times when mealtime gets by you and you need a snack before you crash. It is easy to get into you and refreshing. You of course have the heat and humidity so you know that refreshing is the way to go :-) That is why I make mine with lemonade.
