15 oz no-salt tomato sauce
2 medium garlic cloves , finely minced
1 tsp olive oil
1 medium onions , finely chopped
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp chili powder
2 tbsp cider vinegar
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 cooking spray
1/2 tsp salt
1 Combine the tomato sauce, garlic, oil, onion, salt, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, and vinegar in a small saucepan. Heat and stir for 5 minutes.
2 Remove 1/2 cup of the sauce and keep the remainder at a warm temperature. Lightly coat the grill with the cooking spray and preheat for 5 minutes.
3 Add the chicken and spoon the 1/2 cup sauce evenly over the breasts.
4 Grill for 5-7 minutes. Serve the warmed sauce with the grilled chicken.
Additional Information
Be careful not to boil the sauce.
