Home-Style Barbecue Sauce

A delicious variation on the classic sauce with garlic, onion, and brown sugar.
Ingredients:
8 oz Tomato Sauce, canned
2 tbsp brown sugar , packed
2 tbsp molasses
1 small onions , chopped
1 tbsp Vinegar, apple cider, unfiltered (or distilled vinegar )
1 tbsp minced garlic (or 1/2 teaspoon powder)
1 pinch black pepper (optional)

Directions

1 Blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor to a puree. Serve.

Additional Information
Use as a coating sauce before grilling chicken.

I made this one Night before last using Ketsup instead of the tomato sauce and it was very thick and tasted very good I still have half of the recipe left and will be using it in the next day or two.
