Egyptian Pumpkin Pie with bechamel

Ingredients
• 1 pumpkin.
• 3 tablespoons flour.
• 3 cups sugar.
• 2 tablespoons butter.
• 4 cups milk.
• Nuts and raisins.

Directions

Cooking Instructions
• Peel pumpkin.
• Cut into large square pieces.
• Put pumpkin pieces in a large deep pan.
• Add sugar and heat over low heat until tender.
• Take pumpkin pieces out of pan.
• Leave sugar and liquid aside.
• With a masher, mash pumpkin well and spread in a baking dish.
• Sprinkle raisins and nuts on top of serfice.
• In a saucepan melt butter and add flour, stir until smooth.
• Pour milk while whisking.
• Add reserved sugar liquid and bring to boil.
• Pour sweet bechamel over mashed pumpkin in baking dish.
• Put baking dish in oven and bake until surface becomes golden brown.
• Serve hot or cold.
