Cinnamon Pecans

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. halved pecans

  • 1 cup substitute sugar

  • 1 egg white

  • 1 Tbs. water

  • 1 Tbs. cinnamon

  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

  1. Blend egg white with water til slightly fluffy. Stir salt, sugar, cinnamon into egg mixture. Add pecans and mix well, ensuring pecans are coated. Set on parchment paper lined cookie sheet.

  2. F for 30 minutes…after15 minutes, stir around. Cool, stir, enjoy!

Just 6 huh? Yeah Right! I think these would be great on a chicken salad. Any salad really, but I love good chicken salad and to have a few of these scattered on top would make it a Great chicken salad.

Thanks! It sounds like one I loved as a child and with the substitute sugar can eat again! Will be making this for a party this weekend…I'll try to keep to just 6 pieces!
