3.5 cups frozen strawberries - no sugar added
1/2 c low fat yoghurt or buttermilk
1 TBSP lemon juice
Splenda to taste
In a food processor chop the frozen strawberries with Splenda (I used 1 c Splenda for 3.5 c straberries). Mix the yoghurt with lemon juice and stream into frozen strawberry mixture. Ready to eat as a frozen treat as soon as mixed. If not firm enough, put in freezer for 30 minutes.
I do not have nutritional info as original recipe called for sugar and I successfully substituted Splenda.

May 10, 2009 6:29 AM This is a good recipe to have right now since strawberries are now in season and rather inexpensive at the store. I need something like this. Here in NC where I live it got to 93 today. |
