Poached Tilapia

Ingredients

  • 4 tilapia filets, water, peppercorns, 1 bayleaf, 4 TBS lemonjuice or 4 slices of lemon

Directions

  1. Place tilapia filets in COLD water on stovetop. Add all ingredients (may add whatever seasonings to water you wish). Bring top boil. Boil on med-high for 3 minutes. Check with fork, fish should flake(break) easily. if so, Bon Appetite.

This recipe is surely quick and easy. Tilapia is my favorite fish. I have fixed it many ways but have never poached it. I'm looking forward to trying it this way.
