Nachos Grande Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cream Cheese , softened

  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 1/4 cup cocktail sauce

  • 1 cup Salsa, mild

  • 3/4 cup fresh chopped green onion , diced

  • 3/4 cup chopped red bell peppers , diced

  • 3/4 medium green bell peppers , diced

  • 2 cups Cheese, cheddar, sharp, shredded

  • 2 cups iceberg lettuce, shredded

  • 1 Cucumber, fresh, medium , thinly sliced

Directions

  1. In a blender or food processor, thoroughly mix cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise.

  2. Spread the mixture evenly in the bottom of a medium serving dish.

  3. In individual layers, top the mixture with cocktail sauce, mild salsa, diced green onion, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, shredded Cheddar cheese, and shredded lettuce.

  4. Arrange cucumber slices around the edge of the serving dish.

  5. Chill in the refrigerator at least 2 hours before serving.

  6. Makes 16 servings

  7. ***Serve with an assortment of whole grain tortilla chips and dippable veggies, such as endive leaves.***

I've with Shirley's suggestion… and I plan on making this for our next game night… can't wait to taste it…

It sounds delicious. Have you considered using non-fat sour cream and low fat cream cheese? It shouldn't change the taste that much, but would reduce fat grams, especially saturated fat.

If this were on a table at a party, I would stand by it all night. lol It sounds really good, low in carbs, and lots of flavors to keep one happy!

This recipe is very light & refreshing, and its good even if it's cold out side especially for football parties.
