August 24, 2008 7:32 AM I've been testing out this product side by side with some other meters, plus the previous generation Freestyle (Freestyle Flash) which is my main meter. Pros:Nice bright backlight and port light, no coding, "instant on" (less than 5 seconds until ready to accept blood), 7/14/30 day on-meter averages. Cons:Higher cost of consumables; have to remember to hold the "m" button 2-3 seconds to turn off the device. |

August 1, 2008 9:23 PM I really like this meter. Pros:It is small and easy to carry with me. It is really easy to use and does not require a lot of blood. Cons:Expensive test strips for people with Cigna health insurance. They are costing me $45 for 50 strips when I can get 150 strips for the Accucheck for $60. |

June 23, 2008 5:43 PM this meter is great. It only takes a speck of blood to test and the results are within 5 seconds! holds 400 tests and gives a 7 14 and 30 day average. Pros:alternate test sites to keep your fingers from getting so sore ..quick reliable readings, and very compact. Easy to recall readings. |
