November 18, 2009 6:20 AM I grew up with Bag Balm on the Dairy farm. Worked good then, works good now. Kinda like vasoline on steroids. Pros:Good for helping to heal and smooth dry, rough & cracked skin. It doesn't come off easily [It's a GOOD thing Turtle] Cons:The smell is a lbit unusual not objectionable, but unusual. It can be hard to find.. |

September 24, 2009 1:27 AM I have used Bag Balm for years to keep the caluses on my feet soft. I just put a blob on the rough area and put a pair of socks on to hold it in place and by morning...soft. Pros:Effective, fast acting, inexpensive Cons:Smells funny, is like a thick vasoline with lanolin. |
