I love my dog and it's good for bonding with him…and he could lose a few pounds too. LOL

Walk your dog, do not let your dog walk you.

I love walking my dog. It gives me good exercise and something that I really enjoy which is my puppy.

Pros

although not an aerobic workout, it is some exercise and the dogs love it

Cons

if it's rainy or very cold I can't get them out

That's right it actually works, and don't cost a thing or a lot of time to do.

well, I cheated I used my electric wheelchair and took Sunny out. If I go fast enough, he can run and get some good exercise.

Pros

Sunny gets excellent exercise. I get to be outside.
My brain is being stimutated because I have to think quick and sometimes make quick decisions.

Cons

I am not the one running or even walking

Good exercise for all! Keeps me healthier and the dogs too! I finally got him to heel, but then again he's 13 years old!

Pros

Keeps the weight down!

Cons

My dogs don't like other dogs!

Great exercise and doesn't cost anything except time.

Pros

Need exercise and I enjoy being with my dogs. Great activity.

Cons

I have three dogs and have to take them at different times because they have tendency to want to stop and smell all the "roses."
Unable to keep steady walking pace.

Pros

Motivates you because you are not only getting exercise for yourself, but also your pooch.

Cons

Too big of a dog can drag you if not trained properly.
