March 27, 2009 3:23 PM I actually take a product called fish, flax, and borage oils. It contains all of the omega 3,6,and 9 oils You can find it at WalMart. It is helpful to get all of them in one that way you don't have to but 2 or 3 different bottles and take 2 or 3 different pills. Pros:More economical to get all three oils in one pill. Also easier to take 1 pill instead of 3 Cons:None that I know of. These oils do not effect blood sugar. |

March 25, 2009 4:53 PM Pros: I started taking Flax Seed Oil capsules before each meal to lower my cholesterol. After taking three a day for the last three months my cholesterol was lowered significantly. Flax Seed Oil can be used in place of Fish Oil without the fishy burps and penguin breath that usually accompany the Fish Oil Capsules. I just had my three month blood work done yesterday and will post the results below so you can see for yourself the dramatic results I achieved. AIC January 2009 - 11.5 : A1C March 2009 - 7.0
None so far, they don't affect BF levels, and have no aftertaste or burping side effects like Fish Oil. I am very pleased with the results so far. |
