Pros easy long-acting drug take one time per day Cons Nasty to come off of, even have side effects if you are late for your dosage. Can't imagine how bad it would to come off of cold turkey rather than titrated dosage down.

I was on it for maybe a year & a half & I never had one problem with it. Pros its helped me out so much to get back to my life with my daughter

Pros NONE Cons This is highly addictive and you need constant Doctor supervision to come down off this drug after several years of being on 150mg. daily. This is a VERY bad drug with many side affects, suicidal is amongst the top of the list, anger, rage, etc.. you get the point. I am in the withdrawl process and have been for 11 weeks now. The doctor has me Pristiq, 50mg. Cut in half for morning and the other half for evening. Taken this way reduced my migranes and anger of the HATE I had for Effexor XR. I encourage anyone using Effexor xr to get off it now while you still have your life.

The she put me on it. UGGGGH! Pros none Cons I ended up having suicidal thoughts, more anxiety, physical symptoms and irresponsible uncharacteristic behavior. Quit it and will never go back!
