My husband & I love this product. For a treat I blend 1 cup calorie countdown fat free milk with 1/4 cup any frozen fruit of your choice. Sometimes I add 1/2 a banana it even creamier. Very delicious!

I love milk but have increasingly quit using it because of the lactose; I would be interested in trying this product.

I buy this milk every week and use it for drinking with meals, making smoothies and in recipes. It has 4 carbs for 8 ounces of milk and 2 or 3 sugars. The chocolate is to die for.

Pros

Very low calories, carbs and sugar

Cons

I can't think of any except it is more expensive than a half gallon of regular milk. The cost of the Countdown is 3.29 at Kroger. Don't get confused with Hood Soy. It has to say Hood Calorie Countdown, but to be safe look at the carbs and sugar.

This is really great stuff. Not like soy or rice milk.

Pros

Low carb, did not trigger tummy troubles.

Cons

Expensive! You can buy a gallon of milk for the price of 1/2 gal of Hood's.

I have heard of this product. I am not a milk fan… I use it for baking. I don't like the taste of soy milk or rice milk… I was alergic to milk as a child. Ice cream makes me feel sick. I also have a mild wheat alergy. I will try to find the product and give it a try. I eat some cererals to add crunch with yogert and fruit…

Pros

sounds interesting

Cons

don't know, haven't tried it yet…

Pros

I didn't care for soy based milk products and this tastes much closer to the regular milk I used to love. I've found that I am now able to add cereal (low-carb) back to my breakfast menu when I use the Hood's milk.

Cons

Not all grocery stores carry it, you may have to shop around in your area for a provider who does.
