Category: Injection Prescription Humalog is an injectable fast-acting man-made insulin. Humalog KwikPen is an easy-to-use, portable pen that comes prefilled with Humalog mealtime insulin. This lightweight pen is small enough to fit in your pocket and can be used just about anywhere — there is no refrigeration needed after first use. With the prefilled Humalog KwikPen, it's easy to set your dose: simply turn the dose knob in one-unit increments (up to 60 units) to your desired dose. If you dial too much, simply turn the knob back to your correct dose. |

August 21, 2009 6:02 PM Is great when you are on the run, at a restaurant, or a guest at a friends home, it is quick and easy to use.. This also is a very fast acting insulin. Pros:Quick and easy to use. Cons:Needle sometimes clogs if reused a few times. |
