I love my walker. I also have to use wheelchair for when I need to be on my feet like cooking, washing dishes, housework in general. The wheelchair is for degeneration of spine.

Cons:

Watch out for loose rugs, haha

I use my walker all the time to be able to walk with the neuropathy pain in my legs. Sometimes the walker holds me up. Now I have osteoarthritis and my walker is now doubly valuable. I hope not for life but for now it's absolute.

Pros:

Stability while walking and even holding me up. Also, the seat is wonderful to have to sit down when I'm exhausted.

Cons:

Having to transport the walker is difficult at times. You can't use stairs, not tha I really could. People don't always have very good reactions to me when they see me in line with them or going where they are going.

I love my walker. It has the seat and basket, as well, so I can sit when I need. I usually use it when I have dizzy spells due to damage in my inner ear, but I also use it when neuropathy and/or fibromyalgia keep me down. Currently I'm using it because I broke my ankle in a fall down the stairs 2 weeks ago. Ouch! I'm so thankful I have one.

Pros:

Handy, portable, light weight, so many uses!

Cons:

Absolutely none!

I kept falling, and finally got a walker with seat/wheels and a basket.
Made a big difference in my mobility,
I use it only on uneven ground now, but,
always keep it in my car. just in case

Pros:

Got me out and walking.
Saved me from falling.

Cons:

none, for me.

I have a walker, had to use it after knee surgeries... When I was first going for walks again, I'd use it to when I went for short walks. Then I graduated to a cane, then free. I kept it however and after my bike accident I was glad I had one... I still use it on days when fibromyalgia flare ups are especially bad... with knee replacement, falling is a disaster... Most of the time I don't need one, but it is a good thing to have available...

Pros:

safety

Cons:

could get more dependent on them than we need to be... something to be aware of...

I have a walker, use it for knee problems mainly but have a cane for my diabetic neuropathy to use when having troubles.

Pros:

Help to get around for basic things.

Cons:

Of course not able to move around normally, but I just feel so low when I have to use either one...kind of not human which I know is not the case but its just something inside my head that gets to me. weird eh?

I had to use a walker for 8 months last year when I broke my knee. I couldn't use crutches. Then I moved to a cane for a couple of months and now I only use the cane to get up and down our front step.

Cons:

Walkers make ur arms real tired especially when u use one without wheels on and u have to lift it to get around. Like I had to do.
