July 19, 2009 1:08 AM This works very well. I am on this now and it truly works. Pros:My BP is perfect with this and I weigh 300 lbs. But yes, I am starting a work out program. Cons:Sometimes as for me, I can just let the meds do all the work being they are making my levels perfect. Instead of me getting out there and doing the work for my self as well. |

July 4, 2009 1:50 AM Been on this since T1 diagnosis. I do not use it for BP. Docs have put me on this for my kidneys. I do not have a BP problem while taking this product. Pros:Maintains good blood pressure control and protects your kidneys. Very inexpensive maintenance drug. Cons:none |

June 3, 2009 2:22 PM I take this drug, and has helped my bp. I was only borderline high blood pressure, but with underlying heart disease, the docs thought I should be on it, and it's been great. Pros:Maintains good blood pressure control. Cons:Made me drowsy until I got used to it. |

March 20, 2009 2:15 PM I have been on this for a few years now. My BP typically runs fairly low (90/60), so I was a little concerned about taking it at first. But I have to say, with the small dose needed for kidney protection, I have had no problems with my BP. Pros:Keeps my kidneys functioning well. |

March 19, 2009 2:48 PM I've been taking Lisinopril for quite some time now. It's suppossed to be good for Diabetics. I think it supposed to keep the pancreas and Liver working right. This in turn will help the Kidneys work right. Pros:When you have uncontrollable sugars you want to make sure you're doing everything possible to keep your inside body working as close to normal as possible. Cons:Can't think of any at this time. |

March 13, 2009 8:18 PM I took this for two months last September and October for preventive measures for my kidneys but had to quit due to side effects. Pros:I don't know what pros there were as my blood pressure readings were the same prior to and after taking it. If it helped my kidneys I am not sure. Cons:Gave me a chronic non-productive cough, and since I have COPD I did not need a constant cough on top of the regular COPD symptoms and problems. |
