I have been taking this Med for over 15 years now..everyone says they can tell when i don't take it…

Sorry Avera that you had that reaction.. some ppls are good with Wellbutrin others are better with the other types of antidepressants. I learned that.. I noticed tho that I cried more after taking it, but it does get better.. for me crying is a release and better than the way I use to deal with things… which was a lot of anger and bitterness.. so with God and this on my side it's done wonders for me. Good luck with others who may have taken it.

I take it for depression. Have been using it for a couple of years

This is a generic of Wellbutrin. It works great for quitting smoking and also to stop mood swings and depression associated with menopause.

Used this as a treatment to quit smoking. Took exactly as prescribed. Take 1 a day for 7 days, quit smoking, then up the dose to twice a day for 4 months. Took Wellbutrin SR 300 mg.

I was successful at quitting smoking. Don't know what this drug does. But it took away not only the desire to smoke, but the depression that comes from being deprived of something you want. I can't recommend this drug highly enough if you are looking to quit smoking. Quit 9 yrs ago & have NEVER had the desire for a cigarette since.

I would say that it worked great for me to help me to quit smoking but did very little for me when it can to depression.

It works great to assist in stop smoking.

Did not help me in the depression area. If you do not have good insurance it is very costly. Even the generic.

I have been taking Buproprion XL for several years. I take it with Citalopram for depression and anxiety.

Helps with depression, anxiety and adult ADD. Am more focused when taking this med.

My doctor prescribed this for me to help me quit smoking. After the third day, all I did was cry, lol. I guess I got more depressed using it and my doctor made me quit taking it immediately.

Doesn't make me drowsy like other anti-depressants I have been on.

Works great on my depression.
