Add your reviewI got mine w/ an rx from my dr. I did not have to pay for it because of my insurance and the top locks shut when it is full and I close it. Then I take it to my pharmacy and they dispose of it properly. I also put my used lancets in it.
thats were i take mine too
My pharmacy collects my sharps containers. Originally, I had tro take them to the local hospital.
you can easily use an empty milk jug or laundry detergent bottle as a sharps container. when full, tape it up with duct tape and get rid of it like you would a regular sharps container.
Proseasy sharps container out of household products…
Cons…
It loks like a great idea and good product
I have recently found out our board of health will accept full containers.
ProsFree
ConsNone
I like using the sharps containers, I have one under my desk at work so I can put in my pen needles, as well as one at home. I just don't know where to put it once it is full. I seal it, tape it with straping tape so it cant open anywhere and put it in the garbage can.
ProsDont have to worry about my dog getting into my needles by accident.
ConsAs with any container you use, where to you deposit a full one
for a free one goto: https://www.enlivenservices.com/ra/ongoi...
no you don't have to take enliven…i have gotten 2 so far.
ProsFREEE!!!!
I get a new sharps container through my pharmacy free of charge because of the perscriptions that I get filled there. I also have gotten travel pack charps containers they come six to a pack and hold the needles for insulin and the sharps for the test kits perfectly.
Proskeeps them away from little hands and protects the rest of your loved ones from accidetal pokes.

ProsMuch better than using a regular bottle or tin and much better looking.
My state now allows the use of Red liquid soap
containers. However, there are special sites where they must be surrendered.
they can not be but curb side. Sharps containers must also be taken to special sites for disposal.

Consyour garbage won't be picked up until fines are
paid.
none.
It just so happened that our local Sanitation Station was giving away Free Sharpes containers, the day after I found out that I was Diabetic. I had asked to purchase one at the Pharmacy & he told me to go the next day & get it for free.
ProsI love the fact that all my sharpes are protected from anyone who comes to my home. Especially the children, but it also protects my pets.

What a great safe idea! I have 4 children, some of which can be a little "nosey". This is a great way to be sure they don't get into something that could be a little painful.
ProsSafe and easy!
ConsNone that I can think of.
Keeps sharps in a safe container, but a milk bottle or coke bottle can work just as well. Don't need one at work, thett're all over.
Prosthe red color makes it easy to identify
My Pharmacy recommended that I buy the UltiCare pen tips for my Lanus pens. It comes in a sharps container. Tips on the bottom sharps into the top.
ProsWhen I run out of tips I get a new container. Great deal. Also takes my lancets for my testing kit.
ConsNone so far.
I like it and it keeps the sharps where they are safe
Prosthe safe way to go
