Category: Oral Prescription This is for diabetic neuropothy. has any one had any experience with this? I was looking for the good,bad or ugly about this medication. |

October 2, 2008 4:30 PM This is the generic drug for Neurontin. I have taken it now for about six months and found it to work Pros:Works well for leg and foot pain, numbness and burning. Cons:One of the side effects is drowsiness. After your on it for a while you get used to it and not so drowsy. |

October 2, 2008 4:09 AM I have been on this med for my neurpathy for just other 3 months and what a different it has made in my life I take 600mg in the am @ 5:30 and another 600mg @around 1pm and 600mg at 6pm and then 600mg at 10pm it has worked for me and if I forget to take the pills my leg starts to hurt to remind me. I love this med. Pros:easy to take no side effects Cons:none that I know of |

September 28, 2008 2:25 AM I have been on 600mg at bedtime for pain in my legs and restless leg syndrome for couple of years and it most definitely helps. If I don't take it, have horrible leg cramps and pain that make it almost unbearable. Pros:Helps control severity of discomfort. Cons:Not aware of any side effects that are specific to this medication. |
