October 27, 2008 11:31 AM I took this for almost 2 years and did not work for the pain. Pros:There were none for me Cons:This pill made me crazy, literally. I was very moody, my family said it was horrible. Swiched to Lyrica. Pain is gone and no craziness. |

October 14, 2008 12:15 PM Gabapentin, along with Oxcarbazepine, has worked for me. I had the electric shock pains in my feet. Pros:Works quickly Cons:If you miss just one dose the pain takes a day to get under control. |

October 12, 2008 8:37 PM I love Gabapentin. I am up to 900 mg. 3x/day. If it hasn't worked for you, ask you Dr. to increase your dose. 600 mg. 3x/day wasn't enough for me. I was still miserable. Now, however, I've found great relief! Wouldn't be without it! Pros:Awesome neuropathy pain relief! Dosages can be increased when necessar which is a big plus! Cons:None that I know of. |
