November 8, 2009 1:46 AM none of the medications for neuropathy worked for me . i have been in pain for 5 years, was hardly able to walk. did a lot of research and found a podiatric surgeon that did tarsel tunnel nerve release and got instant relief in my pain.. check out the information at the delon institute. find a podiatric surgeon who does this surgery and see if you are a candidate. |

November 6, 2009 7:35 PM I have been taking it now for about 7 months. I took it for a while about 5 years back, but quit taking it because I couldn't afford it for a while. I don't notice much of a change in level of pain/burning/tingling than before I started back on it. But maybe I need Dr to bump up my dose. Cons:So far I really can't tell the difference with or without it, but hope it will work better with an increased dose, |

October 23, 2009 12:16 AM I have taken this med for several years now. I also have Fibromyalgia and chronic upper and lower back pain, this is the reason I started on it. When I first started taking it I could feel it (the pain relieving) running down my spine and spreading out from there, until all the pain was numbed. I have to take it 3 times a day. When my Diabetic Neuropathy started my Dr had to raise my dose up and it with Potassium prescription stop the neuropathy within 30 minutes of taking it. Pros:small capsule, easy to swallow, I've had no side effects at all Cons:NONE |
