I truly believe walking does help with weight loss, toning muscles, and stress. I love it and I also ride my bike 3 miles a day.

Pros:

It gives me so much extra energy to go through the entire day.

i have found that walking lifts some of the stress of the day away for me and i have lost a few pounds too.

Pros:

no fun to do outside when it's raining

I agread that walking is free , and you can do a lot of thinking and in the mean time you can enjoy the changes in the weather or just your serounding. So I like to walk if it is to cold then I walt around in a store for the time I need to do it.

I walk my dogs a few times a week. I believe it helps to keep us all healthier. I had a grandfather who walked everyday almost everywhere he went. His only form of transportation was his legs and by choice! He lived to be 100 years old and with great health!!!

Pros:

Easy, convenient, free !

Cons:

Not very exciting.

Walk for an hour 4 to 5 times a week. Love to walk when someones walks with me especially my sister. I know some days when I don't feel like getting out of bed just knowing she is at the park waiting for me gets me motivated.

Pros:

Gives me energy to face the rest of the day.

Gives me more energy. Walking is something I can do any time of the day. I joined a gym so I can walk during any season and any weather. It's also a great stress reliever.

I love to walk along the lake shore when I go on vacation yearly back home to Lake Huron in Tawas,MI
I walk around my Neighborhood when home but not as much as I should I know.

Pros:

Free, can walk in any thing. No special equipment needed, Can do it any where, Malls, walking paths, sidewalks, Gyms, Hosp. School Tracks when not in session that is. If you have a dog good way for both to get exercise together if dog can walk at all with out pain.

Cons:

Raining stops some of us from walking out side. Pain in our backs and legs slow some of us down too. Too much can cause more medical problems for some also.
