Easy to use - changed my life. No longer have to carry so many supplies

Pros

keeps track of insulin on board and has a history feature so I can go back and check that I have bolused. Love multiple basal setting.

Cons

something as simple as the battery cap needing to be replaced caused me to not be able to use it for a week waiting for a replacement.

This is my 2nd Animss pump, did wonders for me, I am a "brittle" diabetic, so this really helped me get in better control.

Pros

Just the fact that it helped me with better control, all the fancy features and colors of 'skins.

Cons

The cost! but it is so worth it!!!!

I have been on my Animas 2020 pump for about 3 years now. I was previously a Mini-Med user for about 17 years.

Pros

Great customer service, waterproof, easy insertion with the built-in inserter that comes attached to the tubing

Cons

Impossible to read screen in bright light, expensive therapy

This is my second Animas pump. I upgraded about a year ago. I love the 2020. The color screen is great and the alarm that reminds to to recheck your blood sugar is extremly helpful.

Pros

alarms, color screen, convience

Cons

cant really think of any. I LOVE my Animas!

Pros

High-contrast color screen is easy to read; waterproof; Animas has GREAT customer service; basal rates to three decimal places; 4 different pre-programmed basal rate schedules plus the option for a temporary schedule; Animas has a free vacation loaner program that I've used several times without any problems; food data base with carb grams/serving

Cons

Despite the great color screen, it's still really hard to see in bright sunlight; if you take large doses of insulin Animas cartridges hold less insulin (200u) than MM cartridges
