August 9, 2009 4:10 AM One of the best on the market in my opinion. Pros:Absolutely love that I don't have to change the lancet so often, which can be difficult when out with my three kids. Cons:Would like to see this in a smaller compact size since it is rather large in size also long in length with it not fitting in all meter cases. |

August 17, 2008 12:15 AM The one with the drum. Just like the Compact plus, this lancet device has a drum of lancets. You never see the points and can't get poked by them since they're inside the drum. Once you use it and take it out, you cant reuse it and you see a red mark so you can identify it as used. You can however, use the same lancet again and again if you dont rotate the drum after each firing.
You can see how many lancets you have left from an indicator area on the lancet. Virtually painless unless you use the deepest setting on a sensitive area but most diabetics i know don;t care about the pain; they just aim and shoot. CLICK! Cons:NONE |
