The Multiclix is the best lancet device in the market today, the multiple-needle drum is revolutionary, it's easy to use (if you read and follow the directions), and it really is almost painless. Highly recommended.

Pros

very nice lancet device, not very painful at all.

Cons

cost…but you can buy a new aviva meter and it comes with it for $15 at most places now.

Yes this product is great, this is all so new to me, and my dad gave me this product. I wouldn't use anything else.

Pros

One of the best on the market in my opinion.

Pros

Absolutely love that I don't have to change the lancet so often, which can be difficult when out with my three kids.

Cons

Would like to see this in a smaller compact size since it is rather large in size also long in length with it not fitting in all meter cases.

I have used three different lancing devices and all three of them make me bleed. There is a small prick with all of them. I don't see where it is worth the added expense.

Pros

It is different and does the job as advertised.

Cons

It is more costly and does the same job as the cheaper ones.

For some reason, I cannot get these lancets to poke thru my skin. Have even been on the phone with the company, and still nothing.

Very wasteful that I can't go back and retry with the same lancets. Once the drum moves on to the next one, you're out of luck!

It's too bad, since it sounded like an awesome idea…just replace the drum and be done with it.

This is my favorite lancing device. It is far less painful than the multitude of others I've used over the years. I also like the fact that the lancets are in a drum - very convenient and I don't have to worry that my little baby granddaughter will inadvertently get hold of one and poke herself.

Pros

Less pain. No lancets to see or handle.

Cons

Can be pricey if purchased through regular retail outlets. I buy mine on Ebay.

The one with the drum. Just like the Compact plus, this lancet device has a drum of lancets. You never see the points and can't get poked by them since they're inside the drum. Once you use it and take it out, you cant reuse it and you see a red mark so you can identify it as used. You can however, use the same lancet again and again if you dont rotate the drum after each firing.
I like to push really hard on my finger with it and the area around the hole where the lancet comes out pushes on your skin tightly and when you fire it, you can barely feel it,

Pros

You can see how many lancets you have left from an indicator area on the lancet. Virtually painless unless you use the deepest setting on a sensitive area but most diabetics i know don;t care about the pain; they just aim and shoot. CLICK!

Cons

NONE
