Bitter Melon

By Gabby Added at July 13, 2008 Views 353 Reviews 8 0.0 stars

Bitter Melon is part of a supplement I have been taking for a few weeks now, and I am very happy with the consistancy of my BG. I still need lower, but at least now I am avoiding the rollercoaster ride I had for a while.

I tried bitter melon and fen u greek to along with a bunch of other items of natural supplements. None of them did a thing for me. Are you still using? Do you take any other "diabetic " prescription drugs? What is your dosage?

Pros

Works just like insulin without side-effect. Does make you eat like insulin does.

Cons

Hard to find and purchase. One source in the USA and he doesn't want to sell it except to family and friends.

Bittermelon is some powerful stuff for BG control. I use the juice and drink it as a shot or get it dried and make a decoction. It does work.

Pros

works well. If you're willing to use it. it comes in caps for people who are afraid of the taste, and the caps are bittermelon extracts.
After you drink it, you'll be awake, It's an eyeopener.

Cons

Tastes great…not

Pros

It is available as a capsule with other herbs to support our blood sugar levels

Cons

If you use is separate as a tea, it is…well, Bitter. Take it as a pill.
