Category: Oral Prescription This seems to be a good diabetic medicine. There is no weight gain with this. Januvia is a DPP-4 inhibitor (blocker). DPP-4 blockers enhance the body's own ability to control blood sugar levels. It is a once-a-day prescription pill. |

November 4, 2009 6:32 PM I took Januvia for about a year in combination with Glyburide/Metformin. Cons:The combination did not control my BS well - it was all over the place. I would wake up at night with a BS of 37 or have a BS of 298 in the middle of the day. Very expensive also. |
