This seems to be a good diabetic medicine. There is no weight gain with this.

Januvia is a DPP-4 inhibitor (blocker). DPP-4 blockers enhance the body's own ability to control blood sugar levels. It is a once-a-day prescription pill.

	greeneyedghost March 6 at 12:23 am My Rating Pros It helped keep my bg's lower, but… see cons Cons It states there is a possibility of swelling in feet, hands, legs, and other places. Well.. I have a heart condition and have to keep swelling away always with Lasix.. that wasn't even enough to keep all the swelling I had from Januvia away. It's a good drug if you can tolerate it and the swelling etc.

	Olivia Greene November 4 at 12:32 pm My Rating I took Januvia for about a year in combination with Glyburide/Metformin. Cons The combination did not control my BS well - it was all over the place. I would wake up at night with a BS of 37 or have a BS of 298 in the middle of the day. Very expensive also.
