Great little meter. I especially like not having to handle strips. It comes with a wheel you just slip it in and your good to go for 10 tests. They end up costing about the same as the other name brands do. I used the Breeze for a number of years with same results. Also can test other places than your fingers.

Add your reviewThis meter seems pretty accurate - but with a $30 co-pay per 50 strips (5 wheels), it's pricy (meter was free / strips are expensive). When malfunctions happen (either user error or the machine does not shoot out the strip correctly) it's really hurts the budget. I found a cheapie meter with cheapie strips that so far, with each test, matched the Breeze2 glucose results. I pay out of pocket, skip the insurance, and save money with the cheapie one…
Have you done the tests on the test strips… I used the breeze and then breeze 2 for over 4 years and found it to be reliable.. Maybe you should request a new meter..
I now have this meter because my insurance says this i what its paying for. Its nice not having to code or handle the strips. I don't believe its accurate, I got a reading of 297 waited 10mins tried again and it was 326. My body doesn't feel like my sugar is that high. I had the same results when I tested last week and the strips are too expensive to keep this up. Also, it does require a larger drop of blood and i've gotten several errors because of this. I want my Ultra one touch 2 back.
I like the Breeze 2 and would not using else. I've tried quite a few other ones
ProsI like it
Consnone
Holds a disc of 10 tests, it's great
ConsNone
did not like it. Will stick with my contour
I like this meter; it is bigger than most but I like how you don't have to handle strips all the time. And no coding. I keep this meter at home and carry smaller ones with me.
I didnt like it from the start
Prosnot that I can fined
Constoo menny to list
do not like it neither does my daughter -in-law,who is a cna.
Seems to be expensive for any strips
Prosmeters are cheap
Consstrips are so costly
This is the only meter that I have used since being diagnosed in August of this year. I find it easy to use.
ProsI especially like the idea of the disk, as oppose to handling individual strips.
ConsCost containment would result in a better rating.
Probably use 1st 3 months of diagnosis.
ProsImmaterial to me but meter does not require coding.
ConsDislike the strip wheel and larger blood deposit.
Use probably 1st 3 months of diagnosis then switched to the AccuChek Aviva.
ProsFor me its not a big deal but this meter does not require coding.
ConsCompared to Accu Chek, Requires larger blood deposit and takes longer to provide results.
Used this meter perhaps the 1st 3 months of diagnosis then switch to Accu Chek Aviva.
ConsSometimes have problems loading the lancet wheel correctly, thus losing some of the lancets. This meter requires a larger deposit of blood. And.. although not of great importance, it takes longer to provide results.
I was going to get this meter, but decided on the accu chek which I just love too
Proswill purchase as my back up, the cost is affortable
i love mine it does not hurt my fingers as much
I have tried this meter but I still go back to my One Touch Ultra 2
I like this Meter because it is easy to use and dispose strips easily.
I like this little meter because you don't have to handle the test strips. Click a button to pop out strip for use and click a button to dispose of strip. Very helpful.
ProsIt is quicker than having to find the small hole to put your test strip in when your eyesite is dem from your levels off
ConsNo cons
I love not having to tounch the strips… it is big but it works and thats all that matters to me.
