I've used this meter since I was diagnosed 4 years ago. It is great for people who are on insulin.

I have been very happy with this meter. I am a nurse and was able to use a variety of meters courtesy of different drug reps. Thankfully the One Touch strips is covered by my insurance.

Pros

Quick and easy to use.

Cons

The software program for the meter is not compatible with Vista.

I like this one the best. Has extra features on it. And software you can order with it and down load your levels to your computer.

Pros

can store your doctor visits on the meter, medicines, medical lab tests, and then download them with the software you can order with it and it is very useful, accurate, fast, many features, convenient, and organized. Read all the directions first and get to know your meter so you can use all the features. Great meter.

Love this Meter…I have used others, but this one and the New Mini are the ones I like the best!! Love the downloadable info, and the charts you can print out and take to the Dr.

Pros

ease of use, smaller samples, easy to read and very fast results, all results are downloadable on many informative charts.

Cons

sometimes hard to deal with when you are shakey..but then most meters are.
Doesn't come with a replacement "alternative area"(clear cap)Cap and you can't buy one in any store, if you break the original one.

I love this meter. It's fast, don't require a lot of blood, can be downloaded to a computer, and strips work with others.

Pros

Test strips also work with Ultra mini, Ultra Link, and Ultra 2

I really like the features of this meter and how much information I can store. I wish I had more time to store as many comments as I would like.

Pros

Lots of memory and information can be stored, very fast meter.

Cons

It takes more blood than my old meter.

I love the One Touch meters The small sample size and with the Ultra results averages are easy to get.

Pros

Sample size & 5 second result

Cons

I sometimes have trouble inserting the test strips, but that could be just me.

This is a great meter but still not thye bwt I have used. The best one I have tried lately is the Aviva

Pros

I do like the size of the sample you need to test witgh though. The Aviva gives you a greater testing site area and I appreciate that so much with all the neuopathy I have now.

Quick and easy.

None that I've found.
