One Touch's newest and most improved lancing device on the market. Aimed to reduce the pain and frustration of testing your blood glucose. Finger pricking is not a fun chore, so why not make it the easiest and least painful task possible?

Add your reviewI tried the Delica device and the Delica lancets. I was not pleased with them. They seemed to be too thin and too prone to getting a slight bend in them when I replaced the cap - then it was not sticking correctly. I can't be looking for reading glasses every time I change my lancet so I went back to the regular One-Touch device and Lancets
I have never seen the needle stay sticking out before, there may be something wrong with the Delica lancer you got for free!
And congrats on the free supplies! =)
I thought that it was painful using that. Also the needle stays sticking out. I think they did that on purpose so you can change it every time you use it. Who has money to do that??? I check my blood any where from 4-8 times a day, do I change the lance it every time NO!!! Anyway I am glad I got that for free to try it.
Hey Kim, I see you finally got the lancer working to your satisfaction, glad to hear that.
Hey there that works!!!! I pressed hard and could barely feel anything. Thanks soooo much for giving me directions! You are the best!
When the Delica is on the "1" setting it is at it's most painless. But it is also the hardest setting to get a good prik and sample of blood. With my old lancers and with the delica set at a higher setting, I just place the lancer upon my finger and release the needle. But Since I like the painless version of all of this on setting "1", all I have to do is pres my finger with a lot of pressure on the lancer and then release the spring needle.
Maybe this will help.
thank you Kim, it means a lot
Hey Cheryl-
I'm so sorry about your loss! Take care and God Bless you…
Yes maam , I know, Im on my way, its kinda hard to sleep right now. Steve and I had to put Spitfire to rest yesterday, This house is too quiet without him.
I started at 1, nothing, went to 2, nothing then tried a 3. That worked but REALLY hurt! I did it 3 different times at 3 different locations and I truly didn't like that one. Just my opinion. It may be the absolute best for others! What are you doing up at 1:00 in the morning? I'm going back to bed. Goodnight!
Kim, I was headed to bed, til I saw this, try a lower setting, we have more than one lancer, some are on a higher setting, try a 3 or 2 see how that works, before you give up on it.
My husband has to set his higher than I do, but my fingers are more sensitive than his are.
Okay I have tried it 3 times and I don't like it! Even though the needle is smaller it actually hurts me worse. I'm so glad it is working for you though!
Hi Ryan,
I just got a sample of the Delica Lancer. I have not tried it yet but now I am excited to give it a try. At first I thought it was hard adjusting the depth. It's hard to see the numbers and it hurt my fingers to rotate the wheel. I too use 4 on my other so I will start with one on the new one. I'll let you know what I think tomorrow!
Thanks!
This new lancing device has changed everything for me. I no longer hate pricking my finger to get blood for testing. My nurse practitioner gave me one of these as a doctor visit freebie and I immediately started spreading the word about this amazing lancer.
ConsThe needle for this lancer is the smallest it's ever been with One Touch.
The NOISE that common lancers make when launched is almost as nerve-wracking as the stick stinging itself! I never thought about the sound my old lancer made until I used this Delica one. It's so quiet, just a little spring noise. It may be hard to understand this, but it's really for comforting.
This lancer also has better needle stabilization, ensuring the lancet doesn't vibrate when launched and hurt even more.
I am unsure of which makes this lancer painless for me. I don't know if it's the amazingly thin needle or if it's really the lancet stabilization, but it really incomparable to the lancer that came with my One Touch Mini. It can't "Touch" my new Delica lancer.
The lancer has an "ergonomic design". Cool!
I left my Delica at work a couple of weeks ago and was forced to use my old one that evening. I had to cock it to 4 like I normally would in the past with it and "CLING"…OUCH!
I got to work the next morning and tested immediately. Wow was that better. I only have to set the Delica to 1. This may differ with other people, but I get the same amount of blood out at one on the Delica than I do with the old one at 4. So much better.
I can honestly and confidently recommend the One Touch Delica to any Diabetic looking to ease the pain and discomfort of testing their blood sugar.
Everything I have experienced with the One Touch Delica has been great. All pros.
The only thing I can come up with is that it is slightly smaller than most lancers. Maybe this would make it harder to handle?
It fits just fine in my meter case, but sometimes the sliding lever to cock it back gets snagged on the loop it sits in.
Not really much of any cons. Those are pretty weak.
The Delica is not expensive for what it brings to the table.
On Drugstore.com it's $19.99
Thanks everybody.
