This System my husband found at Wal-Mart and they told him it was there brand. It is a nice machine that cost $9.00 and the strips cost around $35.00 for 100. It is accurate and it will keep track of your sugars from 7 days to 14 days to 30 days. It is easy to use and the price is so much better than the name brand strips. It gives the proper date and time you took your BG from when you are taking it at the time and it will track the dates and times for you so there is no questions. There is a light for the display for ease in reading. I have found 1 thing I don't like, the Lancer Pin does not hold your depth setting.

Add your reviewI just love my ReliOn meter i use it all the time
I have this meter and am happy at the lost cost. Can you please share with me how you go about looking back at your past numbers. I had to have my husband set this up as it confused me. Thanks.
This is probably the one I will have to get because I can't afford anything else!!!
I have the ReliOn and rotate using it with other meters and I like it alright but I will def look into the TrueTrack too!
I bought this meter and don't really care for it. $19.98 for 50 test strips at Walmart is about $.40 per test. The meter is cheaply made but the price of the strips made it a choice I had to make. After searching Amazon.com I found 100 test strips for my TrueTrack meter from Walgreens for $29.95. That's $.30 per test with a better meter. If you like the ReliOn meter do some searching on the internet. You may be able to find the strips cheaper. I would but I really just don't care for the meter.
This is the only meter and strips that I can afford. My Lance pin has broken but besides that it works very well and you can even change the faceplate on the meter for a change of pace.
I like reli-on brand but my insurance covers mine so if I needed to by my own I would use it
I've never tried the ReliOn Ultima but I do use the ReliOn Micro. It costs about $12 and the strips run about $24 for 50 strips. I love the compact size of the Micro. I have tried other meters but besides the AccuCheck Compact this is my favorite and strips are cheaper than the AccuCheck. I do however still use the lancet device that came with the Compact. It's called Softclix. I've never had problems with it besides the fact that the lancets are smaller and easier to change.
I am very sorry to hear that mkhojh99 I wonder if perhaps it needed to be calibrated or if the strips might of been out dated? I have been lucky with mine it has been a pretty good meter! I wish yours had been also!!! Merry Christmas my friend.
God Bless :o)

I once used a relion machine in 07 because I wanted to try something cheaper. It turned out to be a bad deal for me. I was testing and it was always in the high 200's so what do you do when your sugar is high…do your insulin. For days I was getting dizzy and feling crappy…would test my sugar and it would say 280 or something. I had to go have my carotid arteries checked and a MRI on my head and see a nurologist…turned out my relion meter was broke and not working right. My suigars were not high they were low from giving myself too much insulin. My A1C ended up being a 4.5…was a mess for me
I want one of the new necklaces with the USB chip in it…you can add all of your information and they just plug it in to get what they need.
God Bless :o)

I want a bracelet
Yes I agree and I also have some different lancers from other more expensive machines that I have but can't afford the strips for that I can use. I just don't like the one that comes with the ReliOn because it falls apart very easily. When I try to remove the top it comes apart in pieces in my hand so I will be using a different lancer devise, but the machine works just fine with one of the other ones.

I agree with your review I also have used that machine. However you can easily buy a different lancet pin. They are not that expensive and Wal-Mart carries them to if it would help you to have the setting memorized.
Cost less
ConsSmall and compact
The case can hold 50 strips easily
Also has pockets to hold other supplies
Has a light for the display for easy reading
The Lancer Pin adjuster does not hold your depth setting.
