The Belly Fat Cure Diet

By sugarfreeDiva Added at June 23, 2010 Views 1,903 Reviews 16 4.1295 stars

Jorge Cruise's book on losing stubborn belly fat. A good book to decipher the ins and outs of carb counting — good carbs vs. bad (belly good vs. belly bad) and healthy eatting in general. Also highlights the myriad of artificial sweetners out there and how they affect our bodies.

I have tried many "diet" tricks but I can't seem to stay with them long. My stomach seems to have gotten bigger since I started using my pump in the ab area. My arms are big too. Just wondered if insulin in the same area for years contributes to this. I do rotate from side to side on my stomach but still think that insulin has something to do with it…anyone think that ?

Happy day all,
Haven't been here in a min. w/being bk @ work (HALLELUJAH) & church ministries i've been kind of busy. But glad I stopped in to read this I will get this bk & see if it will work for me. I tell my son (James 29) that I am still carrying around my baby fat from him. Stop laughing @ me ok I will stop the madness (I know it's me not my baby). He told me I have to let it go wellI guess it's time since he want let me blame him anymore. Pray for me its time I get focus I priming w/time (as getting older) but tired of getting out of line if you all know what I mean. Be blessed & know that all are highly favored in the name of Jesus. You pray for me & I will pray for you all.

Looks like we are all in the same boat! I wonder what is making us all gain in the stomach. I never had much of one until I started on diabetic meds

Yes i agree with "lesliemead". I look pregnant too. I am fine thru out my body, but it's that middle problem that just won't go away so easily !!! Sometimes it makes me soooooo mad. I'm 45yrs old and have no business looking like I'm having a baby !!! I will look into this book, cuz with having type 2 diabetes and Graves disease(over active thyroid) is not healthy for me, plus its not good for a person of my height (4'11) very short. Thank you for letting us know about this book. Good luck to you all and lesiemead ! hang in there. I am with you all the way. God Bless !

For the last 4 years my weight has gone up and then down but now I look like I am pregnant. My gut is so hard and full looking and my face, well it is just as round. I actually have problems breathing. It feels like someone is sitting on my chest, it is as if my stomach is the reason! What is going on?

Pros

I lost many pounds on this diet and felt amazingly good. Was satisiated w/ good size portions and delicious food!

Cons

My nutritionist gave me more carbohydrates to enjoy on my plan rather than this diet. So it's a little confusing. But I am trying to lose weight and manage my diabetes at the same time.
