NEURONTIN 900mg 3X A DAY

IS ANYONE ON THIS MEDICINE? I TAKE IT FOR DIABETIC NEUROPATHY AND ALSO FOR THE AMPUTATION OF 2 OF MY FINGERS ON MY LEFT HAND. I WAS INTERESTED IN WHAT SIDE AFFECTS YOU GET FROM THIS DRUG?

	kimod1013 May 11, 2011 at 4:05 0 Likes I like this I don't like this Report as inappropriate I have been on it about 2 months. I take 1 in the morning, 1 at lunch and 2 at bed time. Total 1200 mg. a day. It does help but I feel like it doesn't last as long as it needs to.

I lose my balance alot and fall , i think that it is from taking Neurontin. but it does help my condition somewhat, i take 600mg. three x a day.

Recently my doctor increased my dosage to 400 mgs 4 xs a day as my neuropathy has gotten a lot worse. Mine started some 8 years ago when I was having problems with severe hypoglycemia which caused the same type of nerve damage that hyperglycemia can cause. I haven't ever had any problems with it though I have talked to some friends who have. I don't recall what all they have told me though none have had life-threatening reactions.

He is not diabetic but has a dropped foot due to back surgery and that is what caused his neuropathy. Went on neurontin and went into toxic shock. Had to take him to the emergency room. Be careful !!
