I've found this in the diet-foods section at Albertson's and Food For Less stores. It comes in creamy and chunk styles. On the label it says Low Glycemic Diet and says "without added sugar" so it shouldn't do a number on my BS.

Add your reviewPeanuts and Cashews are not nuts..They are Legumes, and extremely high in Omega-6,which is in layman's terms the Arch-enemy of Omega-3..If you like nut butters ,why not simply make your own with Almonds,Hazelnuts,Macadamians or even Pistachios..All of these are high in Omega-3 and lower in Omega-6..Merely soak the raw nuts in water for 12 hours, then put in the oven on 250 for approx 45min,once roasted, toss in your food processor and puree slowly adding coconut oil, until you get the consistency that you like..Add a little sea salt to your taste..Enjoy!!
I had no idea this company did food! I use their insulin reservoirs in my Medtronic pump, so that I don't have to be tied to buying Medtronic tubing, and they're wonderful! Half of all profits goes to diabetes research as well. Glad to see they've found a way to grow their income stream!
NICE LEE-CAN I CALL U LEE? I WILL GIVE THAT SMUCKERS PB A TRY…THANK U ;)
I use Smucker's Natural PB and have started using Whole Foods no salt PB, I use Celery sticks and it gives me the crunch and when covered with PB, well its good! My fasting BS this morning was 115.
HELLO. WOW-DIDN'T KNOW THAT PB RAISES BS-WHAT ABOUT THE ORGANIC BRAND? I REALLY NEED TO GET IT TOGETHER AND GETS THE GLUCOSE #'S RIGHT. I NEED HELP. I HAVEN'T BEEN TO MY DOC IN A WHILE-I GUESS I'M REALLY NOT READY TO DEAL WITH THIS CONDITION. I NEED TO PRAY ABOUT IT AND DO SOMETHING. I DO SECURITY WORK AND ADDED MORE TOURS AND STAIRWELLS-BUT NEED TO DO MY BLOOD CHECK.
Thanks for the info because I love peanut butter and didn't know that it will raise BS.
Without added sugar. For use in a low glycemic diet. Not a low calorie food.
Peanut butter is my comfort food. It's my go-to food whenever I'm stressed or frustrated or had an argument with one of my daughters. This brand is thev healthiest kind I've been able to find that doesn't taste too bland.
ConsIt'd expensive ($5.98 a jar). I have a tendency to eat it mindlessly right from the jar and before I know it half the jar is gone.
