DexCom7 and Hypersensitive Sound Alarm (HSA) are things ever diabetic should own. I evaluated several CGMs and the DexCom was the best choice for me. Although the system is amazing, its alarm is not loud enough to wake me from a deep sleep. Luckily, the HSA amplifies the sound of the alarm so much that it even wakes me from a deep sleep. You can get the HSA device from: www.lonestarconsultinginc.com/audio-devices.h.... The HSA is a must have if you live alone or travel alone.

ConsHSA: Amplifies the sound of the alarm at night - so you never sleep through the alarm and run low all night
DexCom7: Alarm is too low to wake you at night but with the HSA you can hear the alarm
HSA: A bit pricey - but worth it
