A lot of stuff is out there on the App Store, that's for sure. And there's also a lot of useful tools for Diabetics. Anyone have any experience with these applications…maybe even ours…Glucose Buddy?

Being a diabetic, a number of the apps certainly help me!

i have not tried glucose buddy yet. i'll take a look at it.

one of my endocrinologists recently launched a free new iPhone app called AllMyMeds[TM] (also available online at MyDiabetesHome.com). i asked him what its claim to fame will be, and he said that it will be the most comprehensive app for managing multiple medications.

it is, however, still developing, so it's not fully "there" yet. the current 1.0 version is a great start imho. i've been able to input my info. some of the insulin amounts for dosing need to be updated. i asked about that, and was told this launch is more for T2. T1-related info will be perfected in the next version.

AllMyMeds helps people with diabetes (or any chronic condition) who take multiple meds. stores a complete med list, provider list, and pharmacy list for at home or on the go. also has dosing alerts, refill reminders, etc. has a pharmacy locator and a drug search engine. designed by a doc and a team of d. educators, with about 100 patients with d contributing to the development.
