Add your reviewwent to wedding had 2 glasses of red wine the next day i felt remarkable checked my blood sugar and it was lower than it had been on meds. Never dreamed it was the wine untill i read about it then tried one glass and noticed a difference. Did my own test. every other night a glass of red wine. My blood sugar count was always lower the next morning than the nights i did not drink it!
ProsIt also helps me sleep
Yes, it will lower BS
It's good ,but you have to eat with it or make sure you have enough food in your stomach. For women 5-ounces per day , & men 1-2 glasses per day. Everything in moderation. So enjoy and becareful.
ProsGood for your blood.can increase the body's"good" HDL Cholesterol level. Were medical ID just in case.
ConsNot too much.

proven to work to control cholesterol and that is why I do drink it. I have seen the results.
ProsIt works and it is good for getting me to settle into a sleep mode as well.

I have got to try red wine now.
Going to try Love red wine
I amm hypogycemic and red wine tends to make my blood sugar drop 20 points…but again I am in reverse to most diabetics
Proslove the feel the taste
Consworks opposite direction for my issues
Im definitely going to try the wine.
I have noticed with any alcohol that morning BS is lower…but is this a false lower BS? Can it be considered accurate? Just wondering…
I will try it!
I was nervous to try this but I did since I like red wine and I miss having it. Four ounces did not affect my bs, but it sure isn't very much! It was a nice treat though!
Proshelped me sleep
Consnone for me
My doctor told me that one glass of red wine will be ok even with insulin that says no alcohol. Believe it or not alcohol does not necessarily affect blood sugar. I have been taking resveretrol by capsule. I have not noticed a change in my blood sugar but then I am type 1 so maybe it only works for type 2.
ConsNone that I know of.
I haven't tried it yet, but I am going to.
Just found a source for resveratrol at the Vitamin Shop on line. I have ordered it and hope to try it soon. It has all of the goodies found in red wine (and by the way not found in grape juice) without the alcohol. Will let you know how it goes.
it also helps the heart I will be trying this
